Sweet Potatoes are Coming!

Look out for baked sweet potato fries this week in the cafeteria. They are a healthy alternative to regular french fried potatoes and very tasty! We will have a tasting for all the students in the cafeteria on Tuesday during lunch. Please take a moment and let us know what you think.

Ten Best and Worst Foods

The Center for Science in the Public Interest has come up with a list of the Top 10 foods. There may be some surprises. The number one food on the best foods list is sweet potatoes. Learn all about this nutritious vegetable
According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest sweet potatoes are a nutritional All-Star; they are one of the best vegetables you can eat. They're loaded with carotenoids, vitamin C, potassium, and fiber. Bake them and then mix in some unsweetened applesauce or crushed pineapple for extra moisture and sweetness."
Number two on the best foods lists is one of my favorites, grape tomatoes. Number eight is citrus!
