School Clubs are a wonderful way to be a part of the Pocantico community.
Here are some clubs that are offered at our school.
"The Hawk" is the school’s student-run eight-page newspaper, professionally printed three times a year and distributed to every student in the school. Its mission is to promote a positive school spirit, highlighting school-related events and projects, and strengthening the school-community connection. Last year, it was written and designed by over 20 fifth through eighth graders who met every week to compose articles and discuss various related techniques.
In every issue, "The Hawk" features articles on district initiatives, school-wide assemblies, classroom events, trips, and sports, as well as reviews, interviews, advice and helpful tips.

The Photography Club is open to all 4th through 6th graders interested in learning the basics of photography.
We have three sessions throughout the school year.
In this club we learn about the importance of composition and some basic digital editing techniques. We also take great field trips during all three sessions to practice our skills!

The Yearbook staff is a committed group of 7th & 8th grade students. We meet weekly to plan and design each yearbook page.
The Yearbook Staff also takes many of the pictures you will see in this yearbook! We hope you enjoy it!
