Mr. Brown is the ELO/HGS teacher for grades 3-5. This is his fifth year at Pocantico Hills, having previously taught 4th grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade English/social studies.
He began his teaching career in Pleasantville in 1993, where he taught 3rd grade for five years, 4th grade for one year, and was a science teacher and curriculum coordinator for one year. In 2000, he chose to leave the field of education for four years to work in the securities industry with his brother in lower Manhattan. However, in the end, the pull of education was too strong, and he returned to where he was ultimately meant to be!
